Novak Djokovic is two more steps away from the 20th Grand Slam.
The penultimate obstacle at Wimbledon is Denis Shapovalov, a talented Canadian, debutant at this stage of the biggest tournaments.
That's an important difference...
"Experience can help in matches like this," Djokovic said.
Shapovalov has been near the top for a long time, he has potential, but he did not use it to the maximum.
"Denis was expected to have better results before. Now he looks impressive on the court, he plays strongly, he is left-handed... He does not hesitate to attack, he does not make many mistakes. He will attack, there is no doubt, because he has nothing to lose, he will give his all myself to be aggressive. I will get ready, I know what awaits me, we had several good duels. I hope I will be at my peak because that is necessary to win," says Djokovic.
The head-to-head score is 6:0 for Djokovic.
"He is a complete player. He usually made more backhand errors. He can play at a high level, but he can also lose concentration and give away some games. I will wait for my chance, I will use the experience that I have. I have to be ready that he will versatile to play," Djokovic said.
Mateo Beretini and Hubert Hurkač are in the second semi-final.
