Djokovic defeated Rubljov and qualified for the semi-finals from first place

The best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic defeated Andrej Rubljov 2:0 (6:3, 6:2) in the second round of the ATP finals in Turin.

After today's triumph, Novak secured first place in the group and placement in the semi-finals.

Today, Djokovic played the first match against Rubljov in his career, and recorded his 40th victory in the final tournaments.

The number one tennis player in the world made a mistake at the start, so Rublev broke and took the lead. However, Djokovic reacted immediately, retaliated against the Russian and equalized.

In the rest of the set, Djokovic served well, made another break in the eighth game and won the first set.

The second set was practically decided in the 3rd game - Djokovic used a break point, then in the seventh game he reached another break and registered his second victory in Turin.

In the 3rd round, Djokovic will play against Cameron Nori, who replaced the injured Stefanos Tsitsipas.
