Danil Medvedev is the first finalist of the ATP Finals in Turin.
The second tennis player in the world quickly beat the Norwegian Kasper Rud, 6:4, 6:2, with a great game in the first semi-final.
The match lasted only 80 minutes.
Debutant Rud, probably impressed by his top four finish, couldn't put up much resistance.
Already in the third game, Medvedev broke for 2:1, then held his serve and after 42 minutes of play reached the set, 6:4.
In the second Rud held to 2:2, and the Russian ace then made a break in the game that lasted ten minutes.
And that was the end, Medvedev, the defending champion, once again took his rival's serve and celebrated the victory.
He will play the winner of the match between Novak Djokovic and Aleksandar Zverev in the final on Sunday.
