The match between Lajović and Fučović, the 39th and 35th ranked tennis players in the world, lasted almost three and a half hours.
In the second round of the Australian Open, the Serbian tennis player will play against the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who at the start of the tournament was better than the Chilean Alejandro Tabilo in three sets (6:2, 6:2, 6:3).
The Italian, Matteo Beretini, also made it to the second round, who eliminated Brendon Nakashima this morning after a reversal - 4:6, 6:2, 7:6, 6:3.
Beretini will play against Stefan Kozlov in the second round.
