The Polish player thus continued a streak of 26 consecutive victories, and was last defeated in February.
She achieved her triumph over the 2019 US Open winner in one hour and 45 minutes.
Her opponent in the semifinals will be the eighth ranked tennis player in the world, Arina Sabalenka from Belarus, who defeated Amanda Anisimova after a reversal (4:6, 6:3, 6:2).
The Tunisian Ons Žaber, winner of the Masters in Madrid, is also in the semi-finals, beating the Greek Maria Sakari 2:1 in sets 1:6, 7:5, 6:1.
