Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime and his American doubles partner Jack Sock defeated the Italian-British pair Matteo Berretini and Andy Murray in London today after three sets, 2:6, 6:3, 10:8, after which the World Team reduced at 8:7 against Team Europe at the Laver Cup.
Berretini and Murray made two breaks in the first set and took the lead in the match. Their opponents fought back in the second set, making one break, which was enough for them to equalize.
Later, Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic and Ože-Alijasim will play in singles, and after them, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and American Francis Tijafo will take to the court. The last match tonight will be played by Norwegian Kasper Rud and American Taylor Fritz.
To win the Laver Cup, a team must win 13 points.
