The fifth quarterfinalist of the 127th Roland Garros is Kasper Rud.
The vice-champion of the US Open defeated the Chilean Nicolas Hari in three sets, and it is interesting that he won seven games in each, as he won 7:6, 7:5, 7:5.
The Norwegian was the first to break, taking a 3:0 lead, but Hari fought back and won a tie-break, in which the fourth seed conceded only three points to him.
The Chilean was the first to break in the remaining two sets, but Rud quickly fought back, and then in the finals he raised his level of play and won a place among the top eight.
For the semi-finals, he could fight with his neighbor, the Dane Holger Rune, whose match with the Argentine Francisco Serundola is in progress.
