The seventh tennis player in the world, Russian Andrei Rublev, qualified for the quarterfinals of the Masters in Shanghai today, after defeating the American Tommy Paul in two sets 7:5, 7:5.
He reached the victory over the 12th player on the ATP list after an hour and 36 minutes of play.
Rublev took away his opponent's serve three times, allowing one break on the other side.
In the quarterfinals, Rublyov will play against Frenchman Ugo Ember.
