Janik Siner is the first finalist of the Miami Open, as he outclassed the defending champion, Russian Danilo Medvedev, in the semi-finals - 6:1, 6:2.
The Italian served fantastically, the match was the exact opposite of the Australian Open final, in which Medvedev won the first two sets.
Now it was different, as the second seed, Siner, took two first serves from the world No. 3 player. Medvedev, with the fact that he also saved two break points on his serve.
Medvedev also lost his first serve in the second set, then again in the fifth game and the winner was known after 70 minutes of play.
Now the ratio in mutual duels is 6:5 in favor of Medvedev, but Siner won the last five duels!
The second finalist will be decided by tomorrow's match between the fourth favorite, the German Alexander Zverev, and the 11th seed, the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov. The German has won the last seven matches between them.
