Carlos Alkaras states that his reckless announcement that - "Sunday will be a nice day for the Spanish people" could diminish the expected significantly greater support of the audience in the Wimbledon final against Novak Djokovic.
After the audience's protest, he tried to smooth over the relationship, since today the England team is playing for the first trophy of the European champions, precisely against Spain in Berlin.
But he hardly succeeded in dissuading the fans that he just thought that the finals were definitely a holiday for the Spaniards.
The announcements of the leading media do not help him in this either.
