The Wimbledon final, which this year came out with a record prize fund of £50 million, singles winners receive a real fortune of $3,5 million each.
However, the real fortune remains with the organizer, the final for which the finalists, Carlos Alkaras and Novak Djokovic, have just begun to prepare, broke all records for ticket prices.
The cheapest one on the Central Court costs 10.600 dollars, so considering that there are 14.979 seats, the organizer will earn over 140 million pounds from the finals alone.
Novak Djokovic founded a union with the Canadian Vašek Pospisil for this very reason - tennis players only get a fraction of one of the most watched and popular sports.
