The American tennis player, Jessica Pegula, reached the finals of the tournament in Cincinnati last night, with a victory over Paul Bados from Spain 2:1 (6:2, 3:6, 6:3).
The sixth tennis player in the world came to victory over the 37th on the WTA list in an hour and 56 minutes.
Pegula beat Badosa's serve five times, while the Spanish tennis player broke her opponent three times.
In the final, which is scheduled for today, she will play against the third on the WTA list, the Belarusian Arina Sabalenka.
In the semifinals, Sabalenka beat the world's number one tennis player, Poland's Iga Sfjontek, 2:0 (6:3, 6:3).
