Stakušić won with 6:3, 5:7, 7:6 (0). A former winner of the Grand Slam title, Ostapenko has played in excellent shape in recent months, was the first favorite of the tournament in Guadalajara and in the ninth game on the Stakušić service, she had a match point.
In the 12th game on her serve, the Latvian had three match points, Stakuisic defended herself, gained confidence with a break for the tie-break in which she won without losing a point - 7:0.
