After five years, Novak Djokovic will play again in China, at the Masters in Shanghai.
The last time he performed five years ago, then followed the coronavirus, restrictions, cancellations (the Chinese were particularly rigorous), it was not played in Shanghai until last year, when the best tennis player of all time did not fit China into his calendar.
Now he is returning to the field where he has won four titles so far, and today he found out about his first rival.
It will be a match of the second round, and his rival will be the American Alex Mikelsen, who today in the first round defeated the Chinese Juncaokete Bu 6:3, 6:4.
Mikelsen, the 43rd tennis player in the world, reached the victory over the 69th player on the ATP list after one hour and 16 minutes.
