In the final of the final ATP tournament in Turin, Taylor Fritz and Janik Siner will play. The Italian easily won the second semi-final against the Norwegian Kasper Rud - 6:1, 6:2.
Previously, the American was better than Alexander Zverev in three sets.
Siner demonstrated the class of the first player in the world, and on the fast surface the Norwegian had nothing to ask for. Especially in the hall where Siner won all nine matches this year.
In formats of two won sets, Siner lost only four matches in the entire season, and since last year's ATP final - in Turin with Djokovic, he has never been defeated without winning a set!
Fritz and Siner played in the same Ilija Nastase group in Turin, and that match went to the Italian - 6:4, 6:4.
"I'm glad to be here again in the final. The atmosphere was, like last year, fantastic. I'm happy to play again in front of this wonderful audience," said Siner.
In the head-to-head duels, it is 3:1 for Siner, and Fritz won only the first match back in 2021.
They played in the US Open final, Siner won without losing a set - 3:0.
