Dimitrije Rašović will continue to be the president of the Tennis Association of Montenegro for the next four years after being unanimously elected at the Electoral Assembly.
Rašović, who was the only candidate, was proposed for a new term by 19 out of a total of 21 clubs registered in the association, and he received the support of all 14 delegates who attended the session for a new term.
"I am very honored to have been re-elected as the president of the TSCG and I will strive to raise tennis in Montenegro to an even higher level. I spoke with delegates from all clubs, toured the southern, central and northern regions. It is very significant that almost all clubs supported the work of the TSCG and that we have once again shown the unity that adorns the tennis family," said Rašović.
At the session, Rašović presented the work plan and program for the upcoming period.
"The development of tennis is a priority. I am referring to the organization of tournaments from the ETA and ITF calendars. I would like to see some other clubs, in addition to TK "Belvi", TK "Eminent" and TK "Nikšić", host these tournaments. There is TK "Nec", which was previously the host, and the goal is to organize the traditional women's futures again at TK "AS", Rašović emphasized and announced that all clubs will receive the necessary sports equipment.
Rašović's Board of Directors, consisting of Tamara Đurđić, Momčilo Drobnjak, Luka Mićković, Tihomir Konjević, Senad Tafa, Branko Pejović, Ivana Rašović and Divna Ratković, also received support.
TSCG stated that the Assembly authorized Rašović to subsequently decide at a meeting of the Board of Directors on the appointments of vice presidents in accordance with the ITF's requirements regarding gender equality.
The session adopted the financial report, as well as the president's report on work between the two sessions, according to a statement from the Tennis Association.
