The three-month suspension of Italian tennis player Janiko Siner is the news of the day from the world of tennis.
The Italian was suspended for doping, namely the ingestion of clostebol, and after a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), it was decided that Siner would take a three-month break, and he will return to the court on May 7, when the Masters in Rome begins.
And immediately after this decision, reactions from the tennis world followed. One of the first to speak out was Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios, who did not like this decision.
"WADA has said it will seek a one to two year suspension for Siner. It is clear that Siner's team did everything they could to accept a three-month ban without Siner losing any titles or being fined. Sad day for tennis. There is no justice in tennis," Kyrgios wrote.
Siner will be out of action until May 4th, and will miss tournaments in Doha, Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo and Madrid.
