Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic was defeated in the final of the Miami Masters by Czech Jakub Menšik (2:0), and in an interview with Sport Klub, he analyzed the final and touched on the fact that the broadcast of his match was last broadcast on Sport Klub.
The complete sports program of Sport Klub is moving to Arena Sporta channels, in an acquisition for which Serbian Telekom, the owner of Arena Sporta, paid 652.000.000 euros (652 million).
"Sad news for tennis, for tennis fans in the region. I would like to thank the Sport Club for following me all these years. We have seen each other for more than a decade all over the world. Baki, Viško, Govedarica, they have all been in tennis for many years, they know tennis, they are also involved in coaching. Thank you on behalf of all tennis players from Serbia," said Đoković.
Djokovic's last match at the Sport Club was commented by Nebojša Višković, who has followed the greatest tennis player of all time for years. When Menšik had the match point, Višković said goodbye to the spectators with the following message:
"After over 700 matches of Novak with this SK sign, imagine how many points that is, we may have the last one ahead of us. I say maybe, because we all hope that the darkness will last shorter than Novak's career," said Višković.
After the match, Djokovic pointed out that he was not feeling well the day before the final.
"When you draw the line, it's a great tournament. All the way to this final. Great tennis, great level. A completely different day on the court today, a different feeling. I don't know what to say, except to congratulate Jakub on a fantastic game. His serve was decisive. I haven't felt well for a day, a day and a half, but I don't want to make excuses. A good tournament, but I feel a bitter taste in my mouth," said Djokovic.
