Jen, the eighth-ranked player in the world, broke the Belarusian player's serve three times, while Sabalenko did not win a single break.
The Chinese tennis player recorded four aces, while Sabaljanka did not win a single point directly from her serve.
Jen will play in the semifinals against world number three American Coco Gauff, who defeated world number seven Russian Mira Andreeva.
