Clay court king Rafael Nadal will receive two copies of a plaque with his footprint from Roland Garros.
One of them will be exhibited in the 22-time Grand Slam champion's museum, and the other will be available to him at his home.
Nadal is a 14-time Roland Garros champion. On the first day of the 2025 tournament, a ceremony was held in his honor on the "Filip Šatrije" court.
And Rafa's racket was sold for $157,3 at the "Prestige Memorabilia" auction.
The Spaniard played with that racket in the 2017 Roland Garros final, and celebrated against Stan Wawrinka (6:2, 6:3, 6:1), for his tenth Grand Slam title on clay.
It is the most expensive racket ever sold at auction. The previous record also belonged to Nadal's racket - in 2023, the racket he used in the 2022 Australian Open final against Daniil Medvedev - 3:2 2:6, 6:7(5), 6:4, 6:4, 7:5, reached a price of $139,7 thousand.
