Muzeti, the ninth-ranked tennis player in the world, celebrated against the 52nd-ranked player on the ATP list after two hours and 22 minutes.
He will face Novak Djokovic in the final.
If he wins, Muzeti will secure a place in the Final Masters Tournament in Turin.
