The organizers of the Ozark Open have announced the schedule for the eighth day of competition at the first Grand Slam of the season. On the Rod Laver Arena and Margaret Court Arena, matches will start at 1:30 a.m., while on the other courts, play will start half an hour earlier.
The order of play at the "Rod Lejevr Arena" is: Arina Sabaljenka (1 - first seed) vs. Canadian Victoria Emboko (17); Carlos Alcaraz (1) vs. Tommy Paul (19) but not before 3:30 a.m. local time.
Home player Alex de Minaur (6) against Kazakhstan's Alexander Bublik (10) will not start before nine in the morning.
The day at the largest stadium will then be closed by Russian Mira Andreeva (8) against Ukrainian Elina Svitolina (12).
"Margaret Court Arena" - the first two matches will be in doubles, followed by: American Coco Gauff (3) vs. Czech Karolina Muchova (19) but not before 4:30 a.m. Russian Daniil Medvedev (11) vs. Lerner Tijen (25) not earlier than 8 a.m.
Last year's finalist, German Alexander Zverev (3) and Argentine Francisco Cerundolo (18) will start the match no earlier than seven o'clock at the John Kane Arena.
American Iva Jović (27) will play against Kazakhstan's Yulia Putintseva (94) at that arena starting at three o'clock.
