The result of the duel between the tennis national teams of Montenegro and South Africa within the Davis Cup World Group II is tied after the first day of competition in Pretoria.
The home team took the lead with Filip Henning, the 317th player on the ATP list, who defeated Aleksa Krivokapić 2:0 (6:4 and 6:2).
Petar Jovanović equalized with a 2:1 triumph over Alec Beckley (6:2, 3:6 and 6:3).
The second day of competition will open with a doubles duel, in which Jovanović and Krivokapić will face Chris van Wijk and Tando Longueuil-Smith.
Later in the day, Henning and Jovanović, and Krivokapić and Beckley will meet in singles.
