Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has canceled his appearance at the tournament in Doha, which is scheduled for February 16-21.
As stated by the organizers, Djokovic canceled his appearance at this tournament due to fatigue.
"Qatar will miss you. We wish you a speedy recovery," the organizers said.
Djokovic reached the final of the Australian Open, where he was defeated by Carlos Alcaraz (3:1). He had previously defeated Janik Siner (3:2) in the semifinals.
He was expected to perform next week in Doha, which will bring together elite players, such as Alcaraz and Siner, Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Alexander Bublik...
Djokovic is expected to return to the court in March, when the Masters in Indian Wells and Miami are scheduled.
Andrei Rublev won the title in Doha last year.
