Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic will play in the upcoming Masters Series tournament in Indian Wells, the tournament organizers announced today.
"The legend returns. Twenty years after his debut here, Novak Djokovic returns to 'tennis paradise'," the Indian Wells tournament's Instagram account posted.
Djokovic has not played since the Australian Open, where he lost to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
The Serbian tennis player has won the Indian Wells trophy five times, the last time in 2016.
The tournament in Indian Wells is scheduled for March 4th to 15th.
