No Italian duel: Arnaldi withdraws, Cobolli challenges Zverev for the title in Paris

Alexander Zverev advanced to the final, and shortly after that he found out who his opponent was.

The second semi-final match did not even take place, because Matteo Arnaldi had to withdraw before the Italian derby and give up his place in the final to his compatriot Flavio Cobolli.

Arnaldi withdrew due to a virus, so Coboli will face the German on Sunday in his quest for the first Grand Slam title of his career.

This is Koboli's first time in the finals of a major tournament.

Zverev earlier today knocked out Jakub Menšík in four sets to reach his fourth Grand Slam final. And he, of course, is chasing his first Grand Slam title.
