The Montenegrin women's tennis team continued its successful performances at the "Billie Jean King Cup" which is being played in San Marino, within the third group of the European zone.
Our national team defeated Azerbaijan with an aggregate score of 3:0.
The first singles match featured Divna Ratković, who did not drop a single game to her opponent Lala Ejvazova.
Tea Nikčević performed in the second single.
She was better than Mikhail Dzhahangirova - she won 6:3, 6:3.
As in yesterday's match against Albania, coach Miloš Karadžić gave a chance to the doubles of Maša Prijović and Petra Mirković.
They defeated the Azerbaijani pair of Mikhail Dzhahangirov - Lala Eyvazov - 4:6, 6.3, 10:4.
Montenegro plays for first place in Group D on Friday against Armenia, one of the favorites of this edition of the "Billy Gene King Cup".
