Zverev completes the circle - finally the Wimbledon final

Alexander Zverev is in the Wimbledon final for the first time - the second seed from Germany, in the first semi-final he easily defeated home player Artur Ferri in three sets - 7:6, 6:2, 6:4.

Throughout the tournament, Zverev served brilliantly, with his victory over Roland Garros he lifted the burden of losing in the biggest matches and will now enter Sunday's final of the unofficial world championship "unscathed".

"I finally made it to the finals on this court where I had the least success in my career. I am very proud of that, but also to my team, to whom I am grateful because they helped me get the opportunity to compete in the final on Sunday. Thanks also to the audience, over 99 percent of them were cheering for my rival from Wimbledon, but it was so fair and nice," said Zverev, who is the 13th tennis player in history to reach the finals of all four Grand Slams.

On the other hand, on his 24th birthday on Sunday, Feri will be able to proudly watch the final in his own backyard, as he became the 114th player with a special invitation to reach the semifinals of a Grand Slam in his home city, and as of Monday he will be the 36th player in the world.

The other semi-final will feature Janik Siiner and Novak Djokovic. Siiner is defending the trophy, while Djokovic has won it seven times.

"It doesn't matter who my rival is in the final, I have to believe that I can win," Zverev said, among other things.
