The President of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, Nikola Kažić, and the Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jovan Gardašević, signed a cooperation agreement today in Nikšić. The aim of the agreement is to improve volleyball and educate professional staff, as well as jointly implement projects.

The signing of the agreement was also attended by the Secretary General of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, Ivan Bošković, and MA Marko Joksimović on behalf of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education.

The Faculty of Sport and Physical Education will provide full contribution through the organization of lectures, seminars, workshops and other forms of professional development. The faculty will also conduct an assessment of the anthropological status of volleyball players from all representative selections, with a special focus on working with younger categories.

"I am pleased that today in Nikšić we signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, because I believe that this is a document that will help our institutions and improve our mutual cooperation, all with the aim of developing volleyball players in Montenegro. I owe my gratitude to Dean Jovan Gardašević and his team for everything they have done in the previous period to improve our cooperation, which ultimately resulted in the signing of this official cooperation agreement between our two institutions," said Kažić and added:

"What we will definitely use is the wholehearted assistance of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, especially when it comes to training professional staff, organizing seminars, as well as diagnostics that will help us with testing to overcome obstacles in our young volleyball players as soon as possible, to prepare them as best as possible for more serious efforts, and thus to create a better base in Montenegro for the development of volleyball. Our representative selections in the younger categories will have very frequent testing and all candidates will meet here to see what we need to do in the future to help them develop their performances as quickly and as well as possible, which will ultimately result in the performance of our representative selections as well as the individual careers of each of the young people who play volleyball today," said the President of the OSCG, Nikola Kažić.

The Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Jovan Gardašević, expressed his satisfaction with this cooperation and said that the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro is on an upward trajectory.

"We are very pleased that the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro has recognized us as an institution that can help them in the future education of coaching staff, in the diagnostics of athletes. We are very pleased with that and I expect that in the coming period we will establish even closer cooperation with all federations in Montenegro. Mr. Kažić and his team of associates have started on a very good path and I am sure that in the coming period the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro will go on an upward trajectory through the results of their selections. I believe that we, as a partner institution, will also help in that," said Dean Gardašević.
