Montenegrin national team player Ivan Zvicer has joined Budućnost Volley for the continuation of the season in the EPCG Volleyball Super League.

Zvicer returned after six years spent abroad and his return represents a great boost for the team and a step forward for the Montenegrin volleyball league.

"This will certainly be an incentive for better work, progress and ambition of the senior team," the club announced.

"I am glad that after several years of playing abroad I will return to where I started my professional career. While training with the team in the last few months, I have become convinced that the team has a certain quality and potential. I am happy that there are many young and promising players in the club, which reminds me of the time when I was at the beginning of my career. I believe that we can achieve a serious result. Our goal is clear to all of us, and that is to win one or both trophies this season," said the Montenegrin national team's serve receiver.

Zvicer played in China last season, with the Liaoning club, while before that he played for Al Jazira from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. He began his career in his native Nikšić, with Volej Star, after which he played for four seasons with Buducnost. He also played twice for Budva, and for a season each with Mladi Radnik in Serbia, Nafels in Switzerland and Kladno in the Czech Republic.
