Several Montenegrin national team players attracted attention over the weekend with great performances for their teams. Marko Bojić and Milutin Pavićević were particularly effective, Vukašin Cimbaljević shone against the Croatian champions in a duel with his national team teammates, Peruničić and Delić scored in double figures.
Experienced serve receiver Marko Bojić played like he was in his prime. With a brilliant 19 points, our national team player led Tursad to their first win in two months. The Bitlis-based club defeated last-placed Akus Belediye 3:2 away from home, and with their first win after seven consecutive losses, they moved further away from the relegation zone.
Mladost from Zagreb is unrivaled in Croatia. The team of our national team players Đorđe Jovović and Nikola Đurović celebrated in the local Super League derby with Ribola Kaštela, in a match that was marked in terms of points by our Vukašin Cimbaljević. Although the team from Kaštela lost to its main rival 3:1, Cimbaljević won as many as 21 points. Jovović won nine points in three sets, Đurović played in the last two sets and participated in Mladost's 10th triumph in the championship with three points.
Our young volleyball player Srđan Petrović's Marsonia is in a good position when it comes to a place in the Super League playoffs. They defeated Varaždin 3:1, and our middle blocker won four points in the sixth victory of the season, over the closest competitor in the standings.
Milutin Pavićević has emerged as a serious addition to Karađorđe. In the 14th round of the Serbian Super League, our national team player led the team from Topola to a 3:1 victory over Partizan. Pavićević scored 15 points.
In the Serbian championship, Red Star, led by the head coach of the senior national team of Montenegro, Ivica Jevtić, suffered another defeat. The champions were defeated by Radnički 3:2 in the round derby, which left them on the same record as Pavićević's team (9-5), while Red Star remained one win behind the leading Vojvodina.
Another of our volleyball players in the region had a good performance last week. Alpacem Kanal, whose member is Matija Ćinćur, returned to winning ways in the Slovenian championship, with a 3:0 triumph over Krk.

In the duel with the penultimate team in the playoff standings, Ćinćur played in the second and third sets and did not win points, but had a good performance against the undisputed champion of Slovenia, a participant in ACH Volley. In the derby, Alpaecm won a set, and the team from Ljubljana dropped only the third – Ćinćur won eight points, half of them from the block.
Czech Usti, in search of better days, hired our national team player, Nemanja Peruničić, who already made a good impression on his debut in the team where Blažo Milić plays. However, that was not enough for the first victory in 2025 in the Extraliga. Usti lost 3:1 at home to Odolena Voda, Peruničić presented himself with a great 14 points, seven won by the experienced Milić.
Domaljevac, our receiver of Jovan Delić's serve, continued his doubles run with Napredak in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the championship resumed, Domaljevac achieved its fifth win in a row, defeating Kakanj away 3:1, to which Delić contributed with 13 points.
Romanian Craiova suffered a defeat in the mid-zone playoff derby of the local Division A1. Our coach Bojan Strugar's team lost to Zalau 3:1 on the road, in an exciting match in which the home team won the fourth set 36:34. Strugar played in the first two sets, but failed to score.
In the Qatar Championship, Montenegrin coach Marko Joksimović, along with Al Sadd, suffered a defeat away to Al Wakron, and in the Persian Gulf, our coach Balša Radulović took his Sepahan to the semifinals of the Iran Cup, defeating Naft Tehran 3:0.
