There were no surprises in the first round of the second part of the EPCG Volleyball Super League – all the favorites achieved secure victories.
At the opening of the 11th round, Buducnost volleyball players celebrated a convincing victory in “Morača” against Mornar with a score of 3:0 (25:20, 25:18, 25:15). Although the first duel between these teams was one of the most exciting in the championship so far, this time Dejan Radić’s team showed a higher level of play. A major contribution to the triumph was also made by Montenegrin national team member Ivan Zvicer, who confirmed that he is a significant addition to the team. With this triumph, Buducnost regained second place in the standings, with a score of 7-2 and a game in hand, while Mornar is in fourth place after 10 rounds played with six wins and four losses.
The winning team's best players were Luka Lojić and Ivan Zvicer with 13 points each, while Aleksa Nikolić also had double-digit performance with 10 points. For Baran, Stefan Radević scored 10 points, while Lazar Cimbaljević added eight.
Budva continued its dominance, with a rejuvenated squad that convincingly defeated Sutjeska in front of its home crowd 3:0 (25:8, 25:17, 25:17), thus confirming the victory from the first part of the season. Budva remains undisputed at the top of the table with a maximum of 30 points, while Sutjeska has a score of three wins and six losses. The most efficient players in Budva's new triumph were Vukota Čelebić with nine points, and Vuk Stanojević and Vasilije Milenković with eight points each.
The round was also concluded with a victory for Jedinstvo, who celebrated on the road against Galeb with a score of 3:0 (25:18, 25:23, 25:14). With this triumph, Jedinstvo overtook Mornar in the standings and now has a point more (19), while both teams have the same win-loss record (6-4). Galeb remained with one victory, which it achieved against Lovćen.
Bijelopolje was led to victory by captain Stefan Bugarin with 14 points, while Ognjen Marstijepović stood out for the hosts with 10 points.
In the next round, Budućnost Volley and Jedinstvo will meet, who will also meet in the semi-finals of the Montenegrin Cup, then Galeb and Sutjeska, while Budva will play against Lovćen.
