In the 10th round of the EPCG First Women's Volleyball League, four matches ended in three sets, while something more interesting happened in Pljevlja and Bar.
Ibar opened the second part of the EPCG First League with a 3:0 victory over Grebaj (25:19, 25:18, 25:13). Ibar confirmed their victory, which they also achieved on the road against the team from Gusinje, and recorded their second triumph, while Grebaj still has to wait for their first points of the season. Adelita Ljaljić and Lina Šabović stood out in the winning team with 10 points each, while Semra Nikočević scored six points for the visiting team.
In the derby of the North group, Rudar fought back against Gorštak and celebrated with a score of 3:1 (24:26, 25:22, 25:23, 25:22). With this victory, Ana Marković's team took the leading position in the standings. Although they have the same number of points and the same score of wins and losses, Rudar is ahead of Gorštak because it has one more set won. Rudar was led to victory by the great captain Zana Čakar with 25 points won, followed by the excellent Lamija Avdović with 16 and Katarina Bajčeta with 11 points won. For Gorštak, Milena Medenica had an excellent game with 20 points and Jelena Mirović with 10. The volleyball players from Ivangrad 2011 were free in this round.
Mediteran continued its winning streak in the “South” group without any problems in the second part of the season. In this round, they were better than Ulcinj in sets 25:10, 25:6, 25:8. They were led to another victory without losing a set by captain Anastasija Kovačević with 17 points won, while Manja Nikolić scored two on the other side. The team from Ulcinj is still without a win.
In this group, the Bar team – Mrkojevići – also recorded a victory over Lovćen from Cetinje after four sets 3:1 (25:15, 27:25, 7:25, 25:21). Mrkojević's volleyball team recorded its third victory, in addition to which they have three losses, while for Lovćen this is the sixth loss. The home team's top scorers were Ema Perazić with 18 points, Alena Kadić with 12 and Anja Đurđević with 11 points. For Lovćen, Jelena Jovanović was in double figures with 12 points. Mornar had a free round.
In the “Center” group, both matches ended in three sets. Tempo celebrated at home against Top Volley 3:0 (25:13, 25:18, 25:22). With this victory, Tempo maintained first place in the standings without defeat, while the Podgorica team is in third place with a half-point score. Kalina Rudović was the most efficient in the winning team with 13 points, while Bojana Lalatović scored 11. On the other side, Nikolina Popović won 10.
In the last match, Net recorded a victory on the road against Libero from Cetinje 3:0 (25:19, 25:11, 25:14). Mia Pođanin shone again for Net with 13 points, while Sofija Popović scored five for Libero. Net is second in the standings with five wins, while Libero is still without points. Volley Star volleyball players were free.
