Galeb and Budućnost Volley volleyball players finished the league part of the competition with convincing victories over Lovćen and Sutjeska, respectively. The match for third place in the EPCG Super League table between Jedinstvo and Mornar will be played next week. Budva was free in this round, which secured a direct place in the play-off semi-finals with all 12 maximum wins.
Galeb beat Lovćen 3:0 in Cetinje (25:17, 25:20, 25:15) and with this triumph secured the penultimate place in the standings, which brings them a play-in competition. Vladan Jovanović's team was confident in the Montenegrin capital, and captain Vasilije Božović led them to victory with a brilliant 27 points. Strahinja Martinović stood out for Lovćen with 11.
Buducnost was safe against Sutjeska 3:0 (25:20, 25:23, 25:12) and joined Budva in the semifinals of the EPCG Super League playoffs. In this victory for Podgorica, Ivan Zvicer and Luka Lojic scored 13 points each, and middle blocker Adnan Silajdzic also reached double figures with 10. The best player in the home team was Dragan Stojanovic with 13 points.
Jedinstvo and Mornar will fight for third place in the standings in the last match of the regular season for a better position before the play-offs.
