An interesting week is behind us when it comes to Montenegrin internationals – several of our doubles players had notable performances in national championships across Europe.
Katarina Budrak excelled in the 21st round of the French championship and took home the title of MVP of the game. Her team Bordeaux won over Le Can with a score of 3:0 (25:19, 28:26, 25:22), and Budrak achieved a performance of 12 points.
Danijela Džaković continued her great performances in the Azerbaijan Championship. In the space of just a few days, she excelled with 20 and 17 points in the half-time performance of her team Mili Aviasia Akademiasi. Danijela's team achieved a victory over UNEC 3:0 (25:22, 25:15, 25:16), while in the second match they were defeated by Azerail with a score of 3:1 (25:23, 22:25, 25:16, 25:21).
In the Portuguese championship, Saška Đurović continued her excellent performances for Sporting. In the 20th round, her team defeated Casteo Maia 3:0 (25:17, 25:18, 25:12), and Đurović contributed 11 points to the victory. She was also one of the key factors in the quarterfinals of the Cup, where she helped Sporting defeat Porto 10:3 (1:25, 19:25, 21:18, 25:25).
In Romania, Mina Dragović played with Lugoš in the Cup matches. Lugoš defeated Bucharest 3:0 (25:17, 25:12, 25:14) in the round of 3, with Dragović scoring eight points. Sporting's players continued their winning streak in the quarterfinals, where they defeated Targoviste 0:25 (17:25, 18:25, 17:2005), with Mina adding four points. However, Lugoš was eliminated in the semifinals by Voluntari 3 with a score of 0:25 (22:25, 15:25, 18:XNUMX), with Dragović scoring two points.
Our representative in Slovenia, Nevena Vukčević, with GEN-I Volley, suffered a defeat against OTP Banka Branika in the Slovenian championship, with a score of 3:0 (27:25, 25:21, 25:22). Vukčević scored six points.
In the Croatian championship, the Mladost team, featuring Simona Petranović, won against Marina Kaštela with a score of 3:1 (25:14, 23:25, 25:21, 25:19). Petranović played in the fourth set, but failed to score.
Our coach Jov Caković's team, Jedinstvo from Stara Pazova, achieved a great victory over Tenta with a score of 3:0 (25:23, 25:21, 28:26) and made a surprise in the 17th round of the Serbian Super League, in this triumph Staša Mitrović did not play. Also, Darja Popović and Lara Jovović did not appear in their teams' victories - Omladinac defeated Inđija 3:1, while Srem was better than Jedinstvo from Užice 3:0.
Coach Marija Šušić played for Szent Benedek in the quarterfinals of the Hungarian Extra League, but her team was defeated by Békéscsaba with a score of 3:1 (25:17, 25:21, 23:25, 25:17). Šušić scored four points in this match.
Teodora Rakočević did not play in Banja Luka's 3:2 (25:16, 25:17, 21:25, 18:25, 17:15) win over Igman in the 16th round of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League.
