After the second leg of the play-in matches, the semi-final pairings of the EPCG Super League playoffs have been announced – Herceg Novi will play against Albatros, while Luka Bar will face Buducnost. The Podgorica and Novi teams won the play-in matches by winning two matches each. After four-set matches, Buducnost and Albatros were safe in the second leg with a 3:0 home win.
Luka Bogojević's team defeated Budva 3:0 (25:22, 25:22, 25:15) and scheduled play-off matches with Luka Bar. Two interesting opening sets were seen in Podgorica, after which Buducnost put an end to the doubleheader and secured the victory convincingly, with 25:15 in the last set. All players of the Podgorica team received minutes and entered the scoreboard - the most efficient was Lana Rakočević with nine, captain Mileva Magdelinić had one point less. For Budva, Vanja Matunović had 13 points, Đina Lekić 11. Buducnost will play a series with Luka Bar until they win two, while Budva finished its debut season among the strongest Montenegrin clubs.
In a similar rhythm, Albatros defeated the other representative of Podgorica volleyball in the play-in, the team Morača 3:0 (25:19, 25:17, 25:23), and will play at least two more matches with Herceg Novi, with whom it has already played four games in all competitions this season. A great team performance by Branka Obradović's team, in which the middle blocker, Ukrainian Viktorija Položevec, stood out as a double-digit scorer, while Marija Tuševljak, Aleksandra Vučković and Karolina Pidhurska each scored nine points. In the ranks of Morača, Anastasija Koprivica scored 11 points.
The semi-final series will begin on April 5th, with a best-of-two series, with an eventual winner. The first games will be hosted by Herceg Novi and Luka Bar.
