Several Montenegrin volleyball players had a successful weekend, especially Vojin Ćaćić, who won the Ukrainian championship title with his Epicenter. Đorđe Jovović and Jovan Delić were at a high level in the role of scorers, and Matija Ćinćur is part of the Alpacema team, which advanced to the finals of the Slovenian championship for the first time in nine years.
Ukrainian Epicenter finished the season undefeated and won the national championship. In the playoff final, Vojin Ćaćić's team defeated Žitči in three matches, and the former captain of Montenegro won 10 and 13 points in the first two games, respectively, while in the third match, which was played in five sets, he played only in the third set.
In the Romanian championship, Craiova ended the season with a triumph, winning third place. In the second match of the series against Zalau 3:0, Montenegrin point guard Bojan Strugar had 19 points and was one of the best individuals of the game with an excellent 75% attack success rate.
A big moment for Alpacem Kanal, who secured their first Slovenian championship final after nine years of waiting by defeating Kalcit Kamnik 3:1 in the playoff semi-final. In the second triumph in the series with a big rival, our middle blocker Matija Ćinćur scored six points. Alpacem's rival in the title fight will be the best Slovenian team, ACH Ljubljana.
Mladost from Zagreb, led by our national team players Đorđe Jovović and Nikola Đurović, is also in the final. The team from the Croatian capital defeated Centrometal away 3:1, with as many as 20 points from our corrector, while the young middle blocker finished the match without points. Mladost will have Mursa as their rival in the final series, which defeated Ribola Kaštela 3:0 and eliminated the team of our Vukašin Cimbaljević in the semifinals. In the second match of the series, Cimbaljević won six points.
In another regional championship, the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the final series has begun. Domaljevac was defeated at the start by the home team, Napredak, 3:2, despite 26 points from our volleyball player Jovan Delić.
Czech Usti, after a forgettable league season, managed to stay in the strongest company of Czech volleyball. Blaž Milić and Nemanja Peruničić's team defeated Dobričovice in the third playoff match, losing only a set. Peruničić finished the match with three points, while Milić did not play in the last match of the season.
Crvena zvezda, coached by Montenegro coach Ivica Jevtić, failed to win the semi-final series of the Serbian Super League against Vojvodina. They were defeated in the second match away 3:2 (25:20, 23:25, 25:23, 25:21, 19:17), so the best team of the regular season will play the final against Radnički, the winner of the series with Dubočica.
Qatar Sports volleyball players, led from the bench by our coach Darko Prebiracevic, were stopped in the semifinals of the local Cup, after losing in a masterclass to one of the favorites of the competition, Al Rayyan, 3:2.
In the Amir Cup, Al Sad, coached by our coach Marko Joksimović, was defeated by Al Arabi 3:0, with two points from the Montenegrin volleyball player.
