The Montenegrin women's pioneer volleyball team is close to a historic result.
Our U16 team defeated Slovakia at the start of the tournament in Maribor (25:23, 26:24, 25:16) and is only a victory away from qualifying for the European Championship, which will be held in Tirana and Pristina this summer.
Montenegro plays Romania on Saturday (15 pm), and on Sunday their rival is Slovenia (17.30:XNUMX pm) - a triumph in one of those two matches would be enough to qualify for the continental competition, and the pioneers would thus become the first women's volleyball team to reach the European Championship.
Two teams from the five groups of the second qualifying phase will qualify for the European Championship, as well as the best third-placed team.
The most efficient player in our team in the duel with the Slovaks was Klara Đukić with 12 points, Elena Jovanović had 10, Jana Mrdak six, and Nađa Peković and Sofija Duletić five each...
