Sonja Simonovska will referee the matches of the Women's Volleyball Champions League final tournament, which will be played in Istanbul this coming weekend, the Volleyball Federation announced.
She was delegated as the second referee for the semi-final match between Vakifbank from Istanbul and Savino del Bene Skandići.
In the second semi-final, Numua Vero Volley Milano will face Carraro Imoko Conegliano.
In the magnificent Ulker Sports Arena, which can accommodate 13.500 spectators, the semi-finals are scheduled for 16 pm and 19 pm, and the third-place match and grand final will be played at the same times on Sunday, May 4th.
The Koneljan volleyball team is defending its European championship title, which they won last season by defeating their rival in this year's semi-finals, the Vero Volley team.
Vakifbank won the Champions League trophy two seasons before the Italians.
The Skandići team is in the Final Four for the first time in the club's history.
