The men's volleyball team will travel to Austria on Thursday, where they will play two test matches with the Austrians in Vienna, as a dress rehearsal before their debut in the CEV Gold League.
Head coach Ivica Jevtić will have 16 players available for the first games on the national team bench, after Milutin Pavicevic was injured during training in Podgorica, twisting his ankle during a landing.
The coach emphasized that everyone will get a chance in the matches with the Austrians, and Đorđe Jovović stated that this action will be a great experience for the young team.
Montenegro will play Romania and Latvia in the first tournament in Mioveni, Romania, on the first weekend, June 6th and 7th. The tournament in Podgorica will be played from June 13th to 15th, and our team's opponents will be the Czech Republic (June 13th) and Finland (June 15th).
Montenegrin volleyball players will conclude the league part of the CEV Golden League in Strumica, where they will play against Israel (June 21) and North Macedonia (June 22), and along with the host Czech Republic, the three best teams from the joint standings will compete in the final tournament in Brno, from July 4 to 6.
