The Montenegrin women's volleyball team was defeated today in Kaposvar by Hungary 3:1 (25:20, 23:25, 25:23 and 25:20), in the first match of the CEV Golden European League final tournament.
The Montenegrin volleyball team played an excellent game against the hosts, but they were unable to achieve a big victory that would have taken a big step towards the top 4 stage.
Hungary achieved its fourth victory after 122 minutes of play.
The best player in the Montenegrin team was Saša Đurović with 17 points, while Nikoleta Perović with 14 and Teodora Čavić with 11 also scored in double figures.
Middle blocker Mina Dragović finished the match with eight points.
By far the most successful scorer of the game was point guard Ana Nemet with 29 points.
Montenegro will conclude its debut appearance in the Golden League tomorrow with a duel with Portugal, scheduled for 18 p.m.
