The Montenegrin women's pioneer volleyball team is in Pljevlja preparing for the U16 Balkan Championship, which will be held from June 19 to 23 in Pljevlja, organized by the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro. The tournament in Pljevlja is a big test for our young volleyball players before the European Championship in Tirana and Pristina, from July 2 to 13.
In addition to coach Petar Koković's team, the tournament will also feature national teams from Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece and North Macedonia.
Our pioneers open the tournament on Thursday, June 19, with a match against the North Macedonian team, which is scheduled for 18 p.m. A day later, on Friday, they meet Greece, while they have Saturday off. On Sunday, also at 18 p.m., Montenegro will face Bulgaria, while the tournament will conclude on Monday with a duel against Turkey.
All matches will be played at the "Ada" Sports Center, which will be free to enter.
The broadcast of the matches will be provided on the official YouTube channel of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro and on the website of the Balkan Volleyball Association.
