The head coach of the Montenegrin men's volleyball team, Ivica Jevtić, has announced the list of players for preparations in Kolašin, ahead of the last two qualifying matches for CEV EuroVolley 2026.
Our selection will gather on July 14th, with the traditional base at the "Bjanka" hotel, and will train at the "Kolašin" sports center, where the final match against Norway will also be played.
Among the 16 invited players, the most experienced player from this spring's CEV Golden European League tournament, Luka Babić, is missing, as he has not recovered from an injury. The first call-up to the A selection went to Vukota Čelebić, a young middle blocker from Budva.
The list of selectors Jevtić includes:
Technicians: Rastko Milenković, Marko Joksimović and Danilo Dubak;
correctors: Đorđe Jovović and Milutin Pavićević;
service recipients: Nemanja Peruničić, Vasilije Milenković, Benjamin Hadžisalihović, Milan Rovčanin and Vukašin Cimbaljević;
middle blockers: Nikola Đurović, Matija Ćinćur, Dalibor Lečić and Vukota Čelebić;
free: Andrija Joksimović and Stefan Radević.
Montenegro will play the Czech Republic on August 13th, while four days later they will host Norway in Kolašin. Both teams won in last year's duels against our volleyball players - Norway 3:0 (25:19, 28:26, 25:20) in Kristiansand, Czech Republic in Kolašin with a score of 3:1 (20:25, 25:18, 25:22, 25:21).
