Greek women are too strong for our pioneers in Pristina

The Montenegrin women's pioneer national team suffered a defeat against the Greek team with a score of 3:0 (25:19, 25:20, 25:17), within the 3rd round of the European Championship being held in Pristina and Tirana.

Coach Petar Koković's team failed to find a solution for the Greek national team, which had the lead from the very start of the match. Greece gained its first significant lead at 11:7, and then increased the difference to the maximum six points for the final 25:19 and a 1:0 lead in sets.

The “reds” played better in the second set, leading by 17:12. However, the Greek team managed to melt the advantage and turn the score in their favor. The Montenegrin team did not take the chance to equalize, so the Greeks took a 2:0 lead and won the second set with a score of 25:20.

In the third set, Montenegro was constantly chasing the deficit. The Greek team controlled the game and managed to achieve a maximum victory of 3:0 (25:17).

Our team's double-digit scorers were Jana Mrdak with 13 points and Klara Đukić with 11. Teodora Lekaki stood out in the winning team with 19 points.

Saturday is a break day at the championship in Pristina and Tirana, while on Sunday our national team will face a new challenge, a duel with the Croatian national team, scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
