The competition in the EPCG Women's Volleyball Super League continues - the third round matches will be played on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing several interesting duels.
The round starts in Kotor, where Gimnazijalac will host Albatros in a boccia derby. The match in the sports hall of the Kotor Gymnasium is scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, starting at 19 p.m. and will be the first match that Gimnazijalac plays on its home court, writes odbojka.me.
The Kotor team opened the season with a confident victory in Budva, after which they were defeated away to Luka Bar, while Albatros opened the season in excellent rhythm - defeating both Budva teams without dropping a set.
On Wednesday, there will also be games in Budva and Podgorica. In SC "Rea", the duel between last season's rivals in the EPCG First League, Mediteran and Rudar, will start at 20:30. Budva's team welcomes the Pljevlja team in good spirits, after a big away win against Jedinstvo, while Rudar is without a set after two opening rounds in which it played against its Podgorica rivals.
At the same time, Morača will host Herceg Novi, who arrive in Podgorica after a big away win against Buducnost. The champion managed to turn the tables from 0:2 in SC "Igalo", and now awaits a motivated Morača team, full of talented Montenegrin volleyball players, who opened the season perfectly, with victories over Jedinstvo and Rudar.
The third round derby is on Thursday, in the sports hall of the Secondary Medical School in Podgorica. After the defeat against Herceg Novi, in which captain Mileva Magdelinić and Sofija Duletić suffered injuries, Budućnost expects another tough rival. The guests will be the enthusiastic team of Luka Bar, who after winning the Super Cup defeated the team of Gimnazijalac in "Topolica".
