The Buducnost volleyball players were one point away from an ideal debut in the MEVZA league, but they suffered a shock in their premiere match in the regional competition - although they had two match points, they were defeated by the Hungarian team MAV Elora 3:2 (22:25, 20:25, 27:25, 25:21, 15:9).
Our vice-champion opened a new chapter in the club's history in a perfect way, but did not conclude his debut performance. He played phenomenally in the opening two sets, then in most of the third, in the final of which he had a major drop in his game. Despite the maximum +5, the last time at 22:17, he did not bring the match to an end - on a double match point, Radić's team gave up four consecutive points to their rival, saved one set point, but not the second, so the match was continued.
The missed chances shocked the Podgorica team, who were significantly more uncertain in the fourth set, even though they opened it with a 4:1 lead and led until the halfway point. Then the guests from Szekesfehervar took control, tied the game at 25:21, and then confidently won the tie-break with a score of 15:9.
