The volleyball players of Buducnost were defeated by the Mursa team from Osijek with a score of 3:1 (17:25, 25:21, 25:23, 25:19) in the first game of the second MEVZA League tournament, which is being played in Maribor.
The Podgorica team failed to capitalize on their excellent opening game and 1:0 lead in sets, so Mursa turned the score in their favor. Buducnost will especially regret the fourth set, in which they had a 7:1 advantage, which they did not preserve for that eventual break.
The most efficient player of the match was Ukrainian Aleksandru Buzdugan, Mursa's setter, who scored 23 points (20 from offense, 2 blocks and 1 ace), while for Buducnost, serve receiver Marko Vukašinović stood out with 20 points (19 from offense, 1 ace) and setter Luka Lojić with 15 points (13 from offense, 1 block and 1 ace). Jovan Delić had 12 points (10 from offense, 2 blocks), while middle blocker Marko Sinđelić had 10 points, of which 6 were blocks.
The Buducnost volleyball players will play the second game of the tournament tomorrow (Wednesday) against Mladost from Zagreb (14 p.m.).
