The Buducnost volleyball team ended their debut appearance in the regional MEVZA league with a 3:0 (25:9, 25:15, 25:17) defeat to OTP Bank Branik in Maribor.
This is the third defeat for the Podgorica team, after losing to Mladost and Dinamo in Zagreb the previous two days.
Luka Bogojević's team only resisted the favorite in the third set, when they led 11:6, then 12:7.
Their advantage melted away by the middle of that period, and the match in the Tabor Hall soon reached its final epilogue.
The most efficient player in Buducnost was Klara Đukić with eight, Diana Crnojački won seven, and Lana Rakočević five points.
For OTP Bank Branik, the best player was American Sydney Palakolo with 23, while Nika Jularić added 15 points.
Buducnost finished this year's edition of the MEVZA league with five losses, in last place.
