Victories by teams from the top half of the EPCG Women's Volleyball Super League table, as well as the triumph of Jedinstvo in Pljevlja, after which Rudar was left without a chance to stay in the top tier, marked the 16th round of the championship. The next round will be played on Friday and Saturday and will bring several important matches.
Herceg Novi celebrated in the city derby of the round with Albatros 3:0 (25:21, 25:22, 25:22), thus remaining unattainable in the first place in the standings. Another great game was played by Herceg Novi's reinforcement - Brook Dexter won 22 points, and Gordana Madžgalj was in double figures with 10. For Albatros, Anđela Stojković scored 12 points, Amina Musić won 11. It was the 16th victory of the champions, and Albatros' fifth defeat, so they enter the final part of the league competition with a win behind the third-placed team Buducnost and two behind Luka Bar.
The "Sirens" absolutely controlled the events on the field of SC "Topolica" in a victory over Mediteran 3:0 (25:11, 25:18, 25:9). It was the third consecutive victory for Vladimir Milačić's team, the 13th in total this season, and it was led by Natalija Vlaović with 11 and Maša Dragojević with nine points. The Baranka stopped Mediteran's best player, Anastasija Kovačević, at nine points.
Buducnost defeated Gimnazijalac 3:1 (16:25, 25:16, 25:8, 25:17) after a turnaround. In an excellent team performance from Podgorica, the most efficient player was captain Mileva Magdelinić with 10 points, and the only player in double figures on the other side was Jelena Ćorović with 15. Buducnost continued in a good rhythm, and Gimnazijalac fell to the penultimate place in the standings, after Jedinstvo's victory in Pljevlja in the derby of the bottom team.
In SC "Piramida" four sets were seen - 3:1 (25:17, 21:25, 25:20, 25:14) Jedinstvo celebrated, thus securing at least a play-off for a place in the EPCG Super League next season, and Rudar has no chance of surviving with two rounds left in the league. Almost all the players of the visiting team contributed to the victory, and with 14 points, Andrijana Merdović was the most efficient. Staša Bojović, Maša Milošević and Anđela Ćinćur won nine each. For Rudar, Zana Čakar had 13 points, Livia Bueno one point less.
Morača, with a 3:1 triumph over Budva (25:19, 25:23, 17:25, 25:17), remained in the game for the top 4. It is two wins short of Albatros, which it will host in the next round. All Morača players won at least one point, with Lara Jovović scoring the most, who finished the game with 19. Darja Popović and Irena Radusinović each had nine points. Đina Lekić was also the most efficient player for Budva with 19 points, while Elena Čolaković won 15.
