Montenegrin correctors Milutin Pavićević and Đorđe Jovanović had good attacking games over the past seven days, however their good games were not enough to surprise in matches with the favorites. Ivan Zvicer and Vojin Ćaćić played and won in an intense rhythm, Nemanja Peruničić's team returned to winning ways, and our representatives in Croatia and Serbia also had a successful weekend.
Milutin Pavićević was once again effective for Israel's SVA Rehovot, but his team only won a set against third-place Ashdod. Pavićević and Bosnia and Herzegovina's Jovo Bijelović each had 21 points, but Ashdod had Salimu Souare in their ranks, who scored 32 points and thus took over the lead from Pavićević in total points.
In Saudi Arabia, Djordje Jovovic stood at 13 points against one of the favorites for the title, Al Hilal, whose coaching staff includes Balsa Radulovic. Al Hilal won at home in three sets.
In the German Bundesliga, Friedrichshafen, led by former Montenegro captain Vojin Ćaćić, beat Freiburg 3-0 at home, then Dachau away and maintained their race for the leading teams – Friedrichshafen has 16 wins, one less than Düren.
Ivan Zvicer's MAV Elora has had three matches in the past seven days and won all three. The Hungarian champion, with Aleksandar Milivojević on the bench as an assistant, played in a combined squad in all three matches – in the first, he beat Peka Bau 3:0, with three Zvicer points in two sets. Our volleyball player rested in the maximum victory over Dnafer, and in the triumph over Swister also 3:0, he played in the last set and won five points. Tonight, MAV Elora is visiting Szolnok, so they expect a duel with the Austrian Zadruga in the MEVZA league.
Kagitspor, led by our Nemanja Peruničić, is back on the winning track. The team from Kocaeli defeated Yucelen Anamur Spor 3:0 and celebrated its 13th triumph, with five losses, which brought it fourth place. There are eight rounds left until the end of the league stage of the second-ranked Turkish competition.
In Croatia, our volleyball team wins – the leader in the standings, Mladost from Zagreb, whose member Nikola Đurović, was better than Ribola Kaštela 3:0 and remained the only undefeated team after 12 rounds. In the 12th round, Marsonia, led by our Bojan Strugar and Blaž Milić, defeated Sisak 3:2 away and made a jump to fourth place.
In the Serbian Super League, Crvena zvezda, led by Montenegrin coach Ivica Jevtić, defeated Niš 3:0 away, and in the First League derby, Ribnica, led by our Milan Rovčanin, lost to Novi Pazar 3:2 away, leaving their rival within a win of the gap at the top of the table.
